spaces are not hard to find, finding the good ones are the hard part. I remember thinking a lot about spaces when I was in college. spaces where I could optimize studying, eating, and of course, spaces where I could optimize fun. as I am writing about it, I am realizing where the importance of spaces comes from within me. its a touchy subject that I am not really wanting to talk about right now.
I am writing this from a space that is easily accessible to anyone who wanders, or knows libraries exist. that is the thing, you can find good spaces when you are willing to wander in unknown places or when you are willing to be apart of the moment.
for example, driving home there is a spot before an intersection where you have a clear view of the cities skyline (best to see when its nighttime). what a good space to remember how beautiful my city is. how beautiful life is. just as it is, not including all other aspects of life. just as it is.
there was another night where i found a space. after getting in my car to start making my way home, i decided to take an alternative route through a neighborhood on the peninsula. along the the street neighborhood, there was a walking path along the seawall with such a great view of the port. i could see the bridge I drive on every day, the boats I often stare at while on I am on the bridge, and the moon. this is a space. spaces optimize life.
