mornings have always been a difficult time of day. most of this is due to anxiety and the association i’ve created with waking up and worry. before lexapro (shoutout), I would wake up and wait for my heart rate to be racing, and once the heart is racing, my thoughts follow. today was a day where I woke up and paid lots of attention to my body and waiting for anxiety to flow and dictate the rest of my day. it didn’t, but I waited.
today is the next morning. this morning was one of those mornings where I was excited to start the day. there is so much to do today! so much to do (in a good way). its not the “so much to do” where you have to do so much of things you don’t like. today is the “so much to do” where you have so much of things you love to do. and it all has to do about being and seeing people. how easy and simple is that.
